So can we expect a round 2?

Oh yes! Sleepy Hollow has not seen the last of the Horseman!

Nor Van Ghoul it seems.

Or Von Ghoul. Is it weird that I find him charming? He reminds me of my husband. He's a professional with a good noble heart and he's a grounded kind of good looking.

Not at all! Von Ghoul was designed to have some charisma. He's certainly a strong-silent type!

Yay! Very good page, I love in-story explanations!

Though one might wonder how Van Ghoul knows all he said in panel 2. Maybe he concluded most of it by studying the history of previous appearances, from newspapers, but that about "Something powerful ...", idk, did he conclude it from the physical strength of the rider? He seem quite confident about it.

Thanks for your questions. The truth is, he wasn't certain about the Horseman's weakness. Because of that, I realized I didn't write page 12 very well, so I went back and changed his dialogue on that page. Check it out and see if that makes more sense to you! I wasn't very satisfied with page 12's writing anyway, and I think the changes I made does the story a bit more service. As to the "something powerful" he alluded to... yes, after fighting him, Von Ghoul understood more about the Horseman's strength.

Ohh... :)

I went 4 pages back to get a better idea of the bigger picture.

I'd say the flow of page 12 alone is a lot better now and the flow over the last few pages up to here is also much better!

Also! I love it that Van Ghoul didn't solve the case once and for all, leaving room for the events of the Sleepy Hollow movie to take place. I find great pleasure in such "connections" being made or at least not rendered impossible. Thank you very much, I'm having goosebumps now :)
